# General settings

#### `general`

* `maxSettingsBackUpFiles` is the number of backup settings files the software stores. You can leave this alone or change it if you wish.
* `openPythonBridgeOnStartup`should be set to `1` if you want to control Zapit from Python. Otherwise leave at `0`.
